Terms of use
Version for the public beta, September 2026.
1. A free beta
PhD Atlas is a free service in beta. It can change, stop for some time, or close. We tell you by email before we close the service or delete your data for that reason.
2. No guarantee about positions
- Our agents collect public job ads from universities, institutes and job boards. We do not write these ads.
- An ad can be incomplete, out of date, closed early, or wrong. The fit score, the funding data and the eligibility notes are estimates made by software.
- We do not guarantee that a position is open, funded, or that you are eligible.
- Always read the official call on the institution's website before you apply. The official call is the only valid source.
3. No part in the application
PhD Atlas does not take part in any selection. We do not send applications for you. We have no agreement with the institutions, and they do not pay us.
4. Your account
- Give correct data. Wrong nationality or degree data gives wrong eligibility notes.
- Keep your password secret. One account is for one person.
- Do not use bots or scripts to read the service, and do not try to break its security.
- We can close an account that breaks these rules.
5. Your data
The privacy notice tells how we use your data. You can download your profile and matches, or delete your account, at any time in Account.
6. Liability
We give the service "as is". As far as the law permits, we are not liable for a loss that comes from the use of the service, for example a missed deadline or a rejected application. This does not limit rights that the law gives you as a consumer.
7. Changes
We can change these terms. We tell you by email about an important change. If you continue to use the service after the change, you accept the new terms.
8. Law
Italian law applies.
